A silent snow-covered residential courtyard in an old Eastern European neighborhood. A weathered five-story apartment building occupies the left side of the composition. An impossibly tall skeletal humanoid giant emerges from directly behind the apartment building, several times taller than the structure. Its body has exaggerated and unnatural proportions: an extremely narrow torso, a long segmented neck, sharp irregular shoulders, very long angular limbs and oversized skeletal hands. It has exactly two arms and two legs, with clearly articulated joints. Its bones appear almost entirely charcoal black, rendered as dense irregular ink shapes rather than realistic pale bones.
The arm closest to the building bends naturally upward. Its enormous hand rests heavily across the snow-covered rooftop edge, with the palm making clear physical contact with the roof. Five long separated fingers spread across the snow and curl slightly over the upper wall, supporting the giant’s leaning posture. Its other extremely long arm hangs downward beside the building, ending in a large relaxed hand with five clearly separated elongated fingers.
The giant bends its long neck forward over the rooftop. Its small rounded skull turns downward in a clear three-quarter profile toward the lower-right foreground. Two small, faint amber-white eyes glow inside its dark eye sockets. The angle of the skull, eye sockets and glowing pupils creates an unmistakable diagonal line of sight toward the single boy standing beside the sled below. The giant’s full attention is fixed upon that boy.
Only one child appears in the entire scene. The **** small boy stands in the lower-right foreground beside a simple wooden sled. He wears a heavy dark winter coat, winter hat and boots, standing completely still while looking upward at the giant. His figure is a tiny dark silhouette against the muted yellow snow, emphasizing the enormous difference in scale.
Bare leafless trees fill the misty middle distance. An old snow-covered compact car is parked near the far-right edge of the courtyard. A single curved trail of small footprints crosses the otherwise undisturbed snow and leads toward the boy and his sled. The courtyard remains sparse, silent and empty.
The entire scene is deliberately dark and heavily underexposed, illuminated by weak overcast winter light. Deep charcoal shadows cover the building, trees and giant, while the distant courtyard dissolves into dirty yellow-gray fog. The brightest areas are subdued aged ivory. The snow is painted in dim yellow-beige, dusty gray and faded ochre, absorbing the sepia tones of the surrounding environment. The sky is a dark smoky ochre-gray wash. The giant remains almost completely black, with only its two small amber eyes faintly visible.
