A wonderfully absurd cinematic macro photograph of three tiny hand-painted mountain rescue figurines attempting to recover a single fallen popcorn kernel trapped inside the deep folds of a real dark green velvet sofa. One miniature rescuer hangs from a climbing rope attached to a giant upholstery button, another braces himself against the velvet cliff, while the team leader studies a tiny rescue map with an intensely serious expression. The rescued popcorn kernel appears enormous beside them. Rich velvet fibers, beautifully sculpted faces and equipment, dynamic poses, visible handcrafted paintwork, dramatic side lighting, shallow depth of field, real-world miniature photography.
